On March 4, 2013, the Oberlin College community gathered in a rally and march of solidarity in response to a series of racist, prejudiced, queerphobic, and anti-semitic hate speech on campus.

The attacks culminated in the early morning of March 4 when a student spotted a person walking through campus dressed in a hood and robe resembling KKK regalia.

Classes were canceled for the day. Instead, students, faculty, and community members engaged in dialogue and stood united as one community.
