A violinist that manipulates his instrument to sound like a cello, guitar, and other sounds, David can create a full orchestra all on his own. David has studied music for the last thirteen years and was introduced to playing the violin in contemporary settings in high school, learning jazz and rock tunes from Randy Sabien. David writes his own music, utilizing a looper pedal and effects to record and warp his parts onstage. He is able to develop intricate soundscapes mixed with electronic dance rhythms. David’s classical upbringing, contemporary study, and innovative use of effects with the violin help to bring his vision of the instrument into the electronic realm of today’s music.
