Learn about new features that we're introducing in Android Studio 1.3. Support for more annotation checks in lint help you write safer code and help you get your apps ready for the new permissions model in Android M.

Android Studio now lets you define private and public resources for libraries, includes a rewritten Allocation Tracker and a way to open and inspect HPROF (heap dump) files inside the IDE. We've also included debugging improvements, data binding library support, live code templates and finally, C/C++ code editing (in early preview).
