PLEASE READ: I am not trying to label anyone, you are who and what you are based on your parents. the message i was trying to convey is that if you are mixed with "black" then don't deny that PART (not all, just part) of you is "black"
this vid is about externalized oppression, internalized opression, and self hate. I also try to open an avenue for self acceptance.

I don't like the idea of race. just because I'm lighter or next person is darker skinned is called self segregation. why can't we all just get along ? everyone is invited at my dinner table.

Oh how I love being Black. I absolutely love the fact that I am Black. I love everything that has to do with being Black. Black is in and will always be in. This is why everyone wears black clothes. Everyone wish they were Black and is upset and jealous and confused. Black is who we are and what we are regardless of everyone  thinks or say or do to us. We are Black all day long. Black don't crack....Black is back to stay.Black is Wonderful!!!!!!! Black is NOT going anywhere. Get over it and get through it. Get some counseling and move on to greater successful heights because Black is here for eternity!!!!!!!

Ethiopia means Black, it has for centuries because of its people, it is really just a color, and there's nothing bad about it... its beautiful, I think it empowers us, it makes us stand out.. it makes us seem strong.. prideful...  it has built a new meaning, have you seen its progress lately? its a whole nother word now

you know, Black is what are ancestors were called, because they were dark people, or they weren't White, we are descendant of those people, people are still going to call you Black... the meaning of Black is already redefining itself to beauty... Black is a color, a shade, a culture, an ethnicity, an identity.. people are looking at Black as being prideful.. Malcom X already talked about the definition of Black in the dictionary, but he still empowered the Black color as to something opposite of what the White man called it...  being called Black shouldn't be taken literally neither should it be taken for granted.. neither is it healthy to grow up in a Eurocentric society were you will be called Black and feel dissociated with the term even though it was also used to describe our ancestors complexion.. Black=beautiful all shades of Black, dark light bight and brown,, it doesn't matter the shade, what matters is were we come from, most logically seeing our ancestors we would call them Black, its okay to identify to what there color was, after all we do come from the people,

Dear EZserenity, With all due respect as you are clearly an intelligent woman, how individuals of mixed ethnicities choose to identify and navigate this world is truly their choice. I am biracial and I choose to identify as such. Clearly you have the right to an oppinion not, however, the right to dictate how I or anyone else should identify.
