Huge house fire in south riding

If you see this anywhere else but on YouTube tell me. I have never given permission for anyone to use this video on their website or anything. I have not made any money from ads on this video and I believe it is morally wrong to profit off of somebody else's misfortune.

As a British Fire-fighter I am absolutely astounded at how long it seems to take most American Fire Departments to get a hose line to work. We would have a 45mm line off the truck and charged within 1 / 2 minutes of arrival to try and minimise fire spread to adjacent buildings. You should try dutch rolled hose and instantaneous couplings and not that stupid screw thread that you all seem to think is the dog's bollox cos it aint !! We have it on a few Akron ground monitors and it is crap at trying to get on in a hurry and with gloves on. PS cars can and do explode depending on the contents. There are a lot of LPG fuelled cars nowadays and trust me they can go with a bang when on fire. Stay safe Brothers.

As a firefighter myself, I fail to understand why this fire department wasted so much time in flowing a 2 - 1/2 hand line or hit it with a master stream.  The truck arrived and did not even raise it's ladder to prepare for master stream operations in a timely manner, which would have knocked down most exterior fire rapidly.

This is tragic , but one thing that bothers me ... is that people think cars blow up. Cars do not blow up , thats only in the movies and on tv. I wish more people knew about this , because people absolutely freak out when cars catch on fire.
