Katherine Hannigan is a New York Times best selling children's author. She came to UIU as a Visiting Artist and held a show in the Bing-Davis Art Gallery on Upper Iowa's Fayette, Iowa campus. In this show, she detailed the process of making a children's picture book, particularly her new book titled Gwendolyn Grace. She also held an Author Lecture for students and community members. In the lecture Katherine detailed how she became an author and held a question and answer.
