More about the art work: A truly collaborative piece emerging from the "Encounters: New Moon on the Silk Road" project with Ballet Afsaneh, the project brought together talented artists with a range of related traditional dance and music backgrounds. India, Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, China, Indonesia, Arabic, Armenian, Israeli, Hungarian, European ..... purposely setting out to blur the borders of nationality, heritage and time to create new experimental work together.

Industrial Silk explores the theme of separation, from ourselves, from our own light and emotional promise, particularly in these times. Dancers come from awakening to glimmers of expression to union, union with self, each other and all of life.
