The Pop legacy of Ennio Morricone!:
Naturally theatrical, Adam Ant's trademark jacket was an actual costume from the film "THE CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE". He mixed this with a penchant for Native American warpaint and tribal drums. With his undersung guitarist Marco Perroni, he created such 'spaghetti' western homages as "Rancheros" and this hardcharging standard. Its triumphant Mexican horns and reverbing surf guitar are among the best rock song openings in history, for my money.
