Cornelius Van Til's neo-orthodox theology has spawned a new denomination made up almost entirely of Van Tilians. The denomination is known as C.R.E.C. (Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches). It is the brain-child of Douglas Wilson.

In their book titled, "Not Reformed At All," Dr. John W. Robbins and Sean Gerety examine how Van Til's Neo-orthodox teachings have contributed to the movement known today as "Federal Vision." You can buy this important book at this site:

This video also mentions how the PCA deposed Burke Shade in 1999 for teaching and practicing sacerdotalism. Shade, despite being deposed for his anti-Calvinistic teachings and practices, was accepted into Doug Wilson's denomination (CREC). This wouldn't be the last time Wilson would give refuge to such heretical teachers. For example, R.C. Sproul Jr. is a well known supporter of Douglas Wilson and his Federal Vision denomination (CREC). In 2006, R.C. Sproul Jr. managed to get himself defrocked from the Westminster Presbytery of the Reformed Presbyterian Church General Assembly.

What do you do when you get defrocked? No problem, join Doug Wilson's new denomination: The Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches. You can examine the many problems of R.C. Sproul Jr., and what led to him being deposed on this site:
