This is my Personal Growth Process which talks you through each step, this relates to any issue whether you're still living with a drinker or not. The impact of being affected by a drinker can go into adult life.

Jo helps families of alcoholics that want to find peace, freedom and confidence as well as discovering who they really are. For many they've lost their identity and Jo's here to help them get it back.

Helping others like Jo is a passion, she knows exactly how it feels to be affected by someone's drinking, as the adult child of an alcoholic Jo's spent years working through the impact it had on her life. Now she knows what life can really be like and she doesn't want others to exist, but experience all that life can be.

Jo supports them in rebuilding their lives so they feel safe, valued and heard. One thing that people commonly experience is overthinking and anxiousness so one thing Jo does is help them to embrace the concept of letting go which really helps them relax and open up to new ways of doing and being. Using practical tools Jo works to help them change their perspectives, let go of the past, giving them permission to feel instead of denying it, and embrace the possibilities of the future.

They know what it's like and how you feel so take a look at the sample and sign up for the full copy. You'll get answers to your questions and help you make sense of what the drinker is going through and why they do what they do.

Jo and her sister Paula have started up a podcast called "Two Roads Travelled". It's available on Anchor, Google, Spotify, iTunes and others.
The podcast is about alcohol misuse and the impact on families. It also looks at the wider social issues, everything is up for debate and nothing is out of the conversation. Sometimes tackling sensitive issues, but always with the intention of learning and educating.
