Clad in baloney costumes and handing out "Stop the Baloney" sandwiches, more than 150 local seniors and unemployed workers braved below-freezing temperates to protest a speech delivered by "Fix the Debt" co-founder, Erskine Bowles. The demonstration at Boston's Symphony Hall came as part of a national day of action to fight Bowles' proposed cuts to Social Security and Medicare, with proceeds partially funding new corporate tax breaks.
