I would love to give links of the advertisements, that were placed in American magizines, during WWII. You see the British, were begging for Americans to send them guns when the Nazi's were just across the channel. Funny how the threat of Nazi occupation change UK'a opinions about gun ownership. When seconds matter, the police are minutes away!
With a goverment like ours, Giving up our guns would be the dumbest thing we could ever do.

I got to respond to the fact why can't the government take care of its people... Why do we need guns. The government taking care of its people protecting us? Like it did during Katrina? Would someone breaks into your house with the intent on hurting you or your loved ones do you actually believe the police or as you say the government will save you. What they will do is send a coroner to your house the next day
Oh, hell no. @ 6:50 It's probably just a huge cultural difference. I don't know how Brits feel about their government but I certainly don't think he knows how we do about ours. This guy just sounds so naive especially if he thinks he can rely on someone else to protect him. I wish they brought in some policy experts to discuss this in better detail. The second amendment is their to defend yourself because if it ever does become a life or death situation you have to take care of yourself.

To be honest I think allot of people dislike the fact that we do have these rights. (Most of them at least). I think the gentlemen did mention something that supports my statement when he said that the decision making should be taken out of the hands of the people and to let the gov decide. Its we the people who have the authority not the gov. Or at least we use to.

The "gun lobby" has a fraction of the money of banksters like goldman sachs. The gun lobby delivers at the polls. Research the 1994 election. The people in the United States vote out "gun grabbers" quickly and immediatly. That is the true power of the Gun Lobby.
well at least we're safe in the very unlikely eventuality of a zombie apocalypse...
