What would you do if you realized you were living someone else's life? In this honest and visually engaging talk, self-taught artist Liz Flores urges us to ask "are we made for more"? She shares powerful small acts of bravery and a compelling story that might inspire you to a life of more.
Liz Flores is a self-taught artist inspiring others to find their life's work through small steps of bravery, and consistent action that comes from the heart. She paints, writes and creates out of her West Loop studio in Chicago.Through her writing and painting, she shares the journey of creative recovery, vulnerability and her own small steps of bravery that began nearly two years ago when she decided she was made for more. These steps have led to featured group shows and becoming a contributing artist and Community Catalyst for The World We Want art movement. When she’s not in her studio experimenting, you might find her running through the international terminal at ORD, in search of a mural location.
