Malaga - Handball fans from all around the world could watch the women final on their television thanks to Eurosport. At two o’clock the final between Romania and Spain begun, ending up with the Spanish Victory
The final between Romania and Spain, host in the Fernando Arguelles, was an intensive match. Both teams shown a great
job, but the ‘guerreras’ had with them the tactics, a physical display and the support of their fans. The top scorer from Spain,
Amaya G. Garibay, got six goals. The first half ended with 7-10 for Spain. In the second half the Spanish team grit their teeth
and got 10 more goals. In the middle of the game, the bell rang and finished the match with 14-20, a great victory for Spain.
The Spanish players ran to the centre of the court and celebrated their victory with all public, that they southed encouraging
the girls.
