My 1960 Magnavox console stereo playing Talk To Me by Little Willie John on 78. This is one of my favorites from my favorite era of music. The stereo is all tube, no transistors. Has push pull 6V6 output stages and side firing 15" woofers and front firing horns. The Magnavox Imperial(micromatic) record changer can be seen searching for another record on the stack at the end.It senses the size of the record automatically and instead of using levers or buttons for the record to strike it uses the tonearm itself by bringing it in higher than normal to touch the bottom record on the spindle shelf about to be dropped then allowing the record to drop and finally set down. You can see at the end if it doesn't sense a record it shuts off. I don't show it automatically dropping that record because I just don't trust my delicate 78s to be dropped like that. I let it drop LPs and 45s just not 78s. The changer was actually made by Collaro of England for Magnavox. There's nothing like a tube amp for listening to classic 50s and 60s music like this imho
