This 50-minute DVD includes scenes from American Expeditionary Force North Russia - AEFNR) expedition, a contingent of about 5,000 U.S. troops who landed in Arkhangelsk, Russia and fought the Bolshevik forces in the surrounding region during the period of September 1918 through July 1919. This expedition was part of a larger foreign involvement in the Russian Civil War. This regiment, along with other units, was also known as "Detroit's Own" and "Polar Bears."
