This is an E-Bay special I bought in need of rebuilding and repair. I rebuilt the amplifier and mechanism and cleaned up the case. It now works 100% correctly as it was designed to do. This is the pride and joy of my RCA 45 record player collection. In this condition it will now bring between $1000 & $1200! It's a cool item from 1950 and sounds better than ever now because the records are now being played with a modern stereo cartridge bridged for mono operation. This player works by inserting a nickel for each play and is non-selective meaning that it plays each record in succession. Multiple nickels can be placed into the jukebox at one time. The Ristaucrat has tons of volume although the volume control is inside the unit and not adjustable by the patron when playing. Hope you enjoy the video! This is a fun thing to watch when operating properly. One last note - This is an early model and this player has no adjustment for trip at the end of the record forcing you to use a record with a larger trip area at the end of the record. ENJOY!
