For one week the village of Litton in the Peak District turned Pink and raised money for Breast Cancer Research. We had a car wash, pink pyjama and pampering night, tombola, tea and cakes, moon walk, party and a raffle.
Several Peak District landscape photographers have also donated 1/1 monochrome prints with a subtle hint of pink. These are on display in the Red Lion in Litton for the next few months. Bidding ends on the 30th July 2011. In order of appearance, monochrome prints are: 1. Litton Lights, 2. Longshaw Sheep, 3. Eyam Moor, 4. Alport Castles, 5. Litton Cows, 6. Peters Stone, 7. Chatsworth, 8. Litton Sheep, 9. Longrake Owl Barn, 10. Tideswell Fields , 11. Winnats Mist, 12. Titan, 13. Winnats Pass.
