We made this for the Adrenaline Project at The University of Oregon. We had to pitch an idea, write a script, shoot and edit a short film all in 72 hours. There were 12 teams, each team was given the same line of dialogue and prop. The line of dialogue was "Don't fly my kite", and the prop was a pair of chanclas (flip-flops). Each team was given a different genre, ours was Revenge. The entire project was lead by a team of 3 mentors, all of whom were professionals working in the film industry. We were given the "Mentors Award" for this (1 of 3 awards given out at the premiere of the short films). Our main actor was also named best actor of the competition.

This cut is extended from the original, we edited some more once the competition was over (smoothed audio, colored, and extended some scenes).

We spaced on the credits and forgot to thank Katrina Vollbracht for doing the make-up on this film. Not only was all the make up amazing, but she kicked ass on set and basically helped co-direct and ended up dedicating tons of her time to help us.
