I'm learning 'Physical Education' by Animals as Leaders but have found myself almost obsessing over the opening riff and playing and experimenting with it. This video is a result of that. What I'm playing to is a loop I made from outro loop. I decided to maintain the kick and snare pattern but cycle between different options with my right hand (played on stack). As listed in the video I start with half notes, then play all the other "appropriate" polyrhythms (3 against 2, 4 against 3, 5 against 4).
I do plan on filming a cover of the full version of Physical Education but until then I hope you enjoy this mess!
