Speech by Nagender Chindam on 3rd Day of Hunger Strike

We did everything what we can do as responsible citizens of our great nation & as a common man.

We wrote letters, we did peaceful protests, we marched in London & we filed a case with Supreme Court. We have full faith in our justice system...however its time taking process (it might take years of time. Considering the volume of cases that our honourable courts deal with). But the 2014 General Elections are not so far away!! All the hard work went in our campaign in dreaming about participating in our democracy in the coming general elections.

NRIs feeling deprived, don't we? we are not treated as part of our system? We still hold our passports, we still carry the name of our great nation & pride of it, but unfortunately we are not considered as part of the system. Thanks to "Peoples Representative Act 2010 - Amendment" - But it is just a paper right.

We strongly believe that ours is genuine democratic struggle - therefore Founder of Pravasi Bharat, Nagender Chindam gone for more step of our struggle, Three day fasting from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th Jan, 2014.
