Although he is considered to have been a conservative president, Richard Nixon was evidently a huge fan of the British rock group, Procol Harum. In the late evening hours of August 8, 1974, and on into the early morning hours of August 9, Nixon and some close friends spent his last official night in the White House . . . well, jamming to Procol Harum. Here is the only known recording of that event.
