This is footage from the new Arauna2 engine, showing Unity's Robot Lab rendered on two NVidia Titans.
Arauna2 is the successor to the CPU-based Arauna real-time ray tracer. It uses GPU path tracing to render scenes with global illumination and depth of field, at a speed that enables real-time previewing: during camera movement, images are noisy, but as soon as the camera stands still, the final image starts to converge. The noise is due to the random process which is the basis of path tracing.
Credits: Robot Lab scene by Unity, exported to OBJ by Nils Desle. Post processing is done using the LenzLibrary, by Siamak Mirzae, an IGAD graduation student. Titans have been kindly donated by NVidia.
