Women in Southern Africa constitute the majority of the poor, the unemployed, and those with no access to credit.
This video showcases the innovative work being done by Gender Links in 431 local authorities across Southern Africa. Over the years, Gender Links has assisted local authorities in developing flagship projects for ending gender based violence, and empowering survivors of violence through entrepreneurship training. This initiative was brought alive to give effect to the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development. This Video is part of a special Gender Links News Service Series for Women's Entrepreneurship Day.
