Samsung Galaxy S5 official wireless charging cover hands-on

We're taking a look at the Samsung Galaxy S5 official wireless charging cover. This cover actually replaces the normal back of the phone, and has the gold contacts, and rubber gaskets to help with water resistance. It is a good deal chunkier than the normal cover, and it is noticeable when you first snap it on. That's pretty normal considering the charging capability had to go somewhere, and it means you'll be dealing with a slightly heavier S5. To charge with this cover you just need to place it on a Qi wireless charging pad, and you'll be good to go. You'll be trading added bulk to the phone, for a way to constantly keep your phone topped off power wise.
