1970 stereo re release of Acker Bilk's original 1961 album .

Backed by the Leon Young String Chorale Acker achieved a UK #2 and US #1 with his haunting theme from the BBC drama series of the same name. Originally written by Acker and titled Jenny after his daughter.
The album was recorded 12th August and 8th November 1960.
