H.R. 4851, introduced by Congressman André Carson and co-sponsored by Congresswoman Susan Brooks, would establish the Kennedy-King National Commemorative Site, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The site is located where Senator Kennedy delivered a historic speech on April 4, 1968 in reaction to the news of Dr. Martin Luther King's assassination.

Congressman Doug Lamborn is honored to have served Colorado's Fifth Congressional District since 2006. He is the current Chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee’s Subcommittee on Water, Power, and Oceans and a member of the Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources. He also serves on the House Armed Services Committee as a member of the Subcommittee on Strategic Forces and the Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities. He has a strong record of advocating for our military and our veterans, defending the Second Amendment, and calling for immigration reform and tax reform. During his tenure in Congress, he has been a strong voice on behalf of small businesses and a consistent leader on pro-family issues.
