A PAPILLON named Dylan has won the top prize at Crufts 2019 - the first time the bread has ever been awarded the Best in Show gong.
The mutt, nicknamed 'The Villain' from Belgium beat six other finalists to claim the show's top honour tonight.
Owner Kathleen Roosens called him a "butterfly" but gave him the nickname "the villain" because he has a habit of coming in muddy from walks outdoors.
Judge Dan Ericson said he was drawn to the "beautiful dog" who had "everything you could look for in the bread."
Crufts 2019 was held at the NEC in Birmingham.
Dylan took the title from reigning champion pooch Tease The Whippet.
He was also named winner of the Toy group earlier in the four day dog show.
Britain's Got Talent winner Ashleigh who entered the show in 2012 with dog Pudsey, a male Border Collie, Bichon Frise and Chinese Crested powderpuff cross, took part in this year's event with her new dog Sully after Pudsey died in 2017.
