Its a good thing that this twelve pound, 28" pizza is offered as a two person challenge because even with extra help, this monstrous pie has never been defeated. When members of The Big Eaters Club arrived to take this bad boy down, everyone watching was hopeful for our success and cheered us on every step of the way. We chose the four veggie topping option and were not disappointed by either the amount or quality of the ingredients. With the clock ticking on the 1 hour time limit, we dug in. This pizza was hot, fresh, and as delicious as it was large.
If you drive to fast down the Highway 20 business loop, you might miss the small and unassuming building that houses some of the best pizza we have ever had. The family run operation was obviously a labor of love. Its the sort of pizza joint that would be the first choice for meeting up after the game, for a birthday party, or when you just wanted a tasty meal. The owners were friendly and the pride in their product and business showed. With locations in Toledo and Newport, Cobblestone Pizza and the Oregon coast make for two great stops
