Three rural New York school districts earned top honors for their innovative science, technology, engineering and math-related (STEM) programs in the first-ever "Be the Change for Kids" Innovation awards presented by both the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) of the University at Albany and the New York State School Boards Association. The prizes for the winning schools included a tour of the NanoCollege for students, teachers, and faculty, as well as $5,000 worth of funding from CNSE in support of the cutting-edge programs inspiring the next generation of researchers.
