Dan Gainor, president of the Culture and Media Institute believes that having gay characters on TV is bad for society. He believes that it promotes the homosexual lifestyle, normalizes homosexuality, and Hollywood is to blame for causing acceptance. I believe that Gainor's complaint that gay characters are bad for society is rediculous. This is my commentary on his criticisms through the eyes of the hcaracters as well as what I believe the actors would say face to face to him. The original segment "Too Gay for TV?" In which Gainor commented was aired on CNN's ShowBiz Tonight in September 2010.
