Rooted in popular music, orchestral music has moved from the public sphere to elitist circles. With "Bliss", our aim is to shine a new light on that genre by staging it in fascinating places that will help us understand its meaning. For this first episode of "Bliss", we chose the biggest european meat market the main theme in Dominique de Williencourt's work: maintaining hope in the face of death.

International soloist, composer and artistic director, Dominique de Williencourt magnificently embodies the French school of cello. He is the guest of the first two episodes of "Bliss".

WHEN HORSES ARE DYING, THEY BLOW
WHEN FLOWERS ARE DYING, THEY FADE
WHEN SUNS ARE DYING, THEY GO OUT
WHEN MAN IS DYING, THEY START TO SING
