Make the Most - Celebrating contemporary craftsmanship

Artist Film featuring Maeve Clancy

A Somerset Art Works project in partnership with Craftspace and the National Trust at Barrington Court, Somerset.
New and vibrant contemporary craft, sourced locally, nationally and internationally and showcased at Barrington Court in Somerset from 7th September - 31st October 2013.

During the Summer of 2013 Somerset's magnificent Barrington Court was transformed by five internationally-renowned makers using locally sourced willow, paper, wood, leather and stone. The new dynamic works acknowledging the contribution of the local raw material suppliers and local manufacturers to the local economy and ecology of the county.

This film shows the work of Irish paper artist Maeve Clancy whose installation was made for the Great Hall.
Maeve worked closely with Somerset materials supplier Two Rivers Paper Company, based in Roadwater, to create her work for the project.
