Louise Tapper and her family lived in Christchurch's Avon Loop - an area which sustained significant damage in the Canterbury earthquakes of 2010-11.

In this video she shares her memories of living there and her hopes for the future of the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor Regeneration Area.

Regenerate Christchurch was established in 2016 to lead the regeneration of Christchurch. Its purpose is to support a vibrant thriving Christchurch that has economic, social and lifestyle opportunities. Regenerate Christchurch will work with the community, iwi and local businesses to drive regeneration in key areas, including the central city, residential red zones and New Brighton.
