Johnny Mathis and a song from Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom."

Those of you who haven't seen the play or the movie, may not be aware that Johnny is singing, both the male and female lyrics to this song. Christine and Raoul, the young lovers of the film/play, are singing to one another, professing their feelings. Johnny carries this song all alone and his rendition is so lovely.....perfection.

The heroine, Christine, has a relationship with both Raoul and the Phantom, who she believes is her 'Angel of Music."

In this video, you see the Phantom in the darkness, who is also in love with Christine. He is listening and in pain, due to thoughts of losing her. At the very end, you see what the Phantom has done to the rose, in his anger. This is only a small segment of part one of the movie, "Phantom Of The Opera." After this scene, part two begins.

The song is available online and is from the CD, "Mathis On Broadway."

The 2004 movie "Phantom Of The Opera" is also available and a must see...
