Fostering End of Life Conversations, Care and Community among LGBT Older Adults
Principal Investigators Dr. Brian de Vries and Dr. Gloria Gutman from the Gerontology Research Centre at Simon Fraser University hosted a Town Hall on 28JAN2015 at the SFU Downtown Campus. The Town Hall reported on focus group research conducted in Vancouver in August/September of 2014 highlighting some of the unique challenges of, and strategies for, end of life preparations among LGBT older adults; the British Columbia LGBT End-Of-Life Resource Inventory was also launched.
This research is funded by TVN, which is supported by the Government of Canada through the Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) program
