Now I'm going to show you a little bit of nail art. It's called newspaper art. You can take the newspaper words and apply them straight onto your nail.

I selected white as a really good color so that you can see the letters on the nail. The first thing you do, of course, is cut some newspaper. You saturate it with alcohol.

Think about it as similar to the tattoos we would get as kids growing up. You wet your arm, you turn it over, then you put it on your skin.

The same thing applies with the newspaper art. You saturate it with alcohol. Make sure it's really wet. Take it and apply it to the nail if it's wet enough. You apply a little bit of pressure to make sure that the right end transfers onto the finger. The same thing you would do with a tattoo when we were kids. Then, you peel it off to reveal the newspaper words right on your finger. This one I have to put glitter on because it looks so cool with it.

You do that to all 10 nails, then you apply a top coat. Make sure not to use too much pressure, because you don't want the letters to drag. I think this is amazing. It's so much fun. Unfortunately, the letters are going to be backwards, but who cares. It looks like you have newspaper on your fingers.

After you've done all 10 nails you may find that you have some of the newspaper ink on your fingers. While your nails are drying carefully take an alcohol swab or cotton ball soaked with alcohol and just go around your finger. The letters will come right off.

That's a few tips on doing a newspaper manicure.
