All aboard the brand new streamlined Electroliner train as we roll the calendar back to February, 1941 and tour the North Shore Line and other Midwest interurbans! In this video, a superb HO scale model from Con-Cor International, Ltd. explores the Skokie Valley Route and Mundelein Branch, then heads into Chicago on the L through several model scenes built and photographed by Eric Bronsky. Switching onto Erics Metropolitan West Side L, the Liner wows onlookers with its smooth-as-silk departure from Wells Street Terminal, then pauses at Wheaton before continuing on to Ken Spenglers fabulous Oglesby Electric Light & Traction empire. The roving camera witnessed dewirements near Monticello and Electric Park, but otherwise the Liner impressed everyone!
