Silent Super 8mm film taken one afternoon in September 1976. The opening scene is in the USTC compound on Mamba Point (USTC was the United States Trading Company, a subsidiary of Firestone Tire & Rubber Co., Akron, Ohio). Next scene is the junction of Mechlin Street & Benson Street, followed by views of traffic negotiating Mechlin Street Hill leading down to Waterside beside the Mesurado Creek, then on to UN Drive, outside Libtraco (the Caterpillar dealer).
Thirteen inches (approx 33cm) of rain fell between lunch and tea - just another Rainy Season afternoon.
