This is a long video but shows the complete basic steps for creating an alternator from a standard AC electric motor. There is also some basic safety suggestions and experiences. This Alternator averages 10-21 watts at 400 rpm and 30-40 watts at 800 rpm This also introduces you you a bridge rectifier.
