Professor Michael Garrett is director of the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics in Manchester, England. Berkeley SETI Research Center sat down with him in May 2017 to talk about his research, including his involvement in SETI, and what it's like to be in charge of the world's third-largest steerable telescope.
