This video will walk you through finishing your JT-15 80 percent lower with our jig kit. It will probably take 3 hours to complete this project but could take 4 or 5 depending upon your skill level and the tools you are using.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure to view the entire video at least one time before starting. Do not begin the process until you fully understand everything you will be doing.

SAFETY WARNING: Wear eye protection as metal chips will by flying at you. Also use gloves to hold the vice during the last stages of the process when the vice is not clamped down to the table. It is important for you to hold on to vice securely at all times, and have someone else slowly increase the depth of the cut. Otherwise, you can lose control of the vice.

Final depths: Fire control pocket 1.250". Step below rear takedown pin 0.630".

Caliper 6 or 8 inch
0.484" Cobalt Drill
0.375" Cobalt Drill
0.156" Cobalt Drill
0.125" Cobalt Drill
3/8" Carbide Endmill
1/4" Carbide Endmill
