Diane is a resource teacher for the Program for Accelerated and Creative Education (PACE) in Troy, MIchigan. She teachers critical thinking and problem solving skills through a variety of hands-on activities to augment the regular subject material.
She has used her position to encourage children in problem solving situations to help others across cultural lines inside and outside of the continental United States of America.
The Elizabeth Siddall Award recognizes MEA members who have developed and implemented programs that have enhanced international or intercultural awareness among educators and their students.
