The Mosaic Company: K3 Service Shaft Headframe Construction

The Mosaic Company is expanding our operations to meet growing needs. Currently, Mosaic is building one of the world's tallest potash mining headframes at its Saskatchewan, Esterhazy K3 potash expansion site. The massive construction project features the 18-day continuous concrete slip forming of the K3 headframe to a height of 293 feet above ground level. We expect that when expansion is complete in 2021, we'll have boosted our annual potash capacity by 50 percent, we'll have created 500 new permanent full-time jobs, and we'll have spent almost $6 billion. Most importantly, we'll be able to help farmers around the world produce the food we all need.
