Falcon Robotics - Piston Experiment

We compete in the FIRST Robotics competition, and you can ask anyone else that competes in the competition, weight is a huge issue (weight limit: 120 lbs). For a while now a weight saving technique we do is mounting the compressor off board. Meaning that we only have storage tanks installed. Compare the 10lb compressor to a 1/2lb storage tank, no comparison but your air is limited so this is how we try to compensate for it...

One improvement we've done since is use a spring to contract the piston. (Not on video) So we cut the air once again in half!
