With the arrival of April in Tenerife there is a definite feel of the Canarian spring in the air.
As in the earlier months of the year, it’s advisable to be prepared with a jacket for early mornings and evenings, but on the whole, April weather in Tenerife is mainly dry with mild and comfortable temperatures throughout.

Average April temperatures are around 20°C, average sea temperatures 21°C, average rainfall 31mm, & average humidity around 63%.

Again, more sunshine is guaranteed on the South coast than any other part of the Island. Expect to experience about 8-10 hours of sun and little rainfall.

Please remember that these are averages for Tenerife weather in April for the whole island and depending on where you are located, there can be variations in the weather due to the well known micro climates.
