Ingredients! 1 cup chana dal soaked for 2-3 hours. Salt, chili powder, coriander powder & cumin seeds 1ts each, turmeric powder ½ ts. 1 md onion, 1 md tomato, 3-4 garlic cloves, 10-12 green chillies, use fresh and round lauki/ kaddu-bottle guard. Chana daal is always made in round lauki never made in long lauki/dodhi. Often available in Asian vegetables or open markets. Goes well with boiled rice/roti. For breakfast with paratha.
