Ahmed Mohamed is a transmedia project that brings together rap, interactive art, and the fight to end mass incarceration and police terror. The project is a 'trap transmedia' commentary on young victims of police brutality made up of three components: an interactive 'Fight The Power' Final Exam about police terror, original artwork with augmented reality and virtual reality features, and the song and music video, Ahmed Mohamed. The video, shot by Alex Seel (Al Jazeera, Borderlands) is a re-telling of Ahmed Mohamed's arrest- with elements of magical-realism that blur the lines between documentary footage, satire and music video.

Jam No Peanut, who was recently on trial facing three months at rikers for ‘climbs on statue’ while protesting police terror, is a multimedia artist, rapper, and revolutionary on the front lines of resistance against mass incarceration. A bilingual artist who received a Fulbright Scholarship for his research on hip hop culture in Beijing, he is also a seasoned activist whose faced a year in prison with Cornel West for nonviolent civil disobedience. When not on stage or on a soapbox, he is the head of the Fresh Prep program at Urban Arts Partnership, which uses hip hop pedagogy to help NYC students pass the Regents exams. jamnopea.net
