A REASON TO BELIEVE -- Available April 2011 as a hardcover and eBook

Governor Deval Patrick became an A Better Chance Scholar in 1970 when he was accepted into Milton Academy in Milton, Massachusetts on scholarship as a freshman in high school. He graduated from Milton Academy in 1974 and became an Alumnus of the program. When commenting on the work that A Better Chance does, Governor Patrick made the following statement: "It starts with the premise that talent resides in every American community and then puts that talent in the way of opportunity. It's as simple and powerful as that." Learn more about Governor Deval Patrick's experience with A Better Chance and at Milton Academy in his memoir, A REASON TO BELIEVE.
