On April 22nd, I was on 'The Last Word' on Today FM in Dublin Ireland. The host had me opposite a Catholic friar who was also a PhD director of Religious Education. My impression was that he was already backpedaling right out the gate. He actually talked about the manditory imposition of Catholic faith was really only offering 'space' to young who might feel the need to be consoled and mislead by the priest's meaningless nonsense. But of course the audience response was to accuse me of being just as bad as they are, as if that wasn't also a Freudian admission of guilt.
